Future Release(s)

We at Hoopaa Inc. strive to continuously make improvements to zoomzaa. The Internet is an ever-changing environment. New technologies are being developed and made available everyday and with this comes even more new challenges that should concern parents about their children's activities online. Our commitment to zoomzaa is to investigate and invest in ways to always stay ahead and give parents the means to monitor and protect their children while on the Internet with some peace of mind. By itself, zoomzaa does nothing; it is only when you, as the parent and Administrator take charge and initiate the powerful tools available to you that zoomzaa starts to work.  And remember, zoomzaa works based upon YOUR input; YOUR decisions, not those of faceless but well meaning corporations whose out-of-the-box solutions are based upon common denominators.  With zoomzaa it is YOU that takes control!  Who knows your children better?

The following is a current "wish list", compiled from requests made by parents who see the value of zoomzaa and would like to have some input in making the application even better.  Shown below are just some of the requests we are examining very carefully and determining their development and inclusion in future releases of zoomzaa.  And let's not forget one, very important thing -- zoomzaa is and will continue to be 100% FREE!:

  • Monitoring of AOL and Yahoo Instant Messaging;
  • Creating a Users Forum where registered zoomzaa users can communicate with each other, exchanging ideas and discussing common issues;
  • Capability of working within the Firefox web browser;
  • Providing parents with the ability to select for each user of a zoomzaa-registered computer which period of the day that Internet access should be blocked;
  • Web site rules (block, take pictures, or confirm that a web site is ok) can established for each user of a computer; and,
  • Children sometimes unwittingly enter personal family information such as names, address, telephone, etc.. when registering to an on-line game, a blog or a personal web site. Today, parents have no means to know which, to whom and when this information was sent. zoomzaa will address this by monitoring the transmission of this information and alerting parents when and what information was sent and to whom. This way parents can take appropriate action to protect their family's personal information.
Release 1.42

  • address small issues regarding the automaitc update.
Release 1.41
  • Automatically block web sites according to their category; Sexuality, Games, Hate, Personal, Gambling or Religion. It's the parents not zoomzaa that makes the decision which categories are to be blocked;
  • Enable parents to set rules to block viewing of selected web sites for up to two specified periods a day.
